Dentists in the United States have joined the ranks of the Minish proliferation. Twenty-two local dentists completed the 15th Minish course at the VITA North America training center in Orange County, California, USA, over the course of three days, starting today. This brings the total number of graduates to 342.

Recognized by the American Dental Association for Continuing Education, the course was highly sought-after and sold out early, even at a price that was 50% higher than other training programs in the region.

"It's nice to know that there's science behind the treatment," said Dr. Philip Tagatak (Inland Dental Arts-San Bernardino, CA), who attended the course, "I usually do a lot of veneers, but Minish is a minimally invasive treatment option that I'm excited to offer my patients."

Dr. Albert Lee (Georgia Dental Implant Center-Akworth, GA) commented, "The number of instructors and the small group size made it feel like you were getting one-on-one instruction." "Overall, both the lectures and the labs were excellent," he said.

The training was significant because it was the first time a Minish course was held overseas. Previous Minish clinical seminars have been held in Tokyo, Japan and Beverly Hills, USA, but this is the first time a full-scale training course, including hands-on labs, has been held locally.

The Japan Minish Course has been held three times in Korea, in November last year, April and September this year, as local doctors preferred the training, facility visits, and interaction with existing provider dentists.

Graduates can join Minishprovider after undergoing a clinical proficiency and credentialing examination, as well as a hospital facility inspection. As of October, there were 75 Minishprovider dental clinics, including 43 in South Korea, 29 in Japan, one in the United States, one in Canada, and one in Vietnam. The Global Minish Course for foreign dentists is held four times a year, twice in Japan and twice in the United States.

"Opening a training course in the U.S., the world's largest healthcare market, means that we have entered a full-fledged global expansion phase," said Changho Choi, head of the Sales Division. "Our overseas business, which was focused on Asia, mainly Japan, has expanded to the North American market, laying the foundation for us to become a global healthtech company."
