Introducing Minish Providers

Star White Dental Clinic in Haeundae, Busan, is the center of the skilled know-how of Dr. Ryu Hee-sung, who has been practicing aesthetic treatments for over 20 years.
In 2004, we introduced LUMINEER, the first toothless laminate in Korea, and in 2008, we were the first to try partial orthodontics using self-ligating brackets in Korea, opening new horizons in aesthetic treatment.
“We have been focusing on aesthetics since the popularization of laminates in the early 2000s, when we saw that the focus of dental care would shift from implants to aesthetics,” he explains.
Dr. Liu’s practice philosophy is “healthy, strong, and beautiful transformation”. He has a long-standing belief in focusing not only on visible results, but also on the function and long-term stability of the teeth.
He was introduced to Minish around 2010 and took enough time to observe the clinical results to become a provider. He was convinced that Minish’s philosophy of prioritizing tooth preservation aligned with his own practice principles.
The biggest change since the introduction of Minish is the “closer communication” with patients. “Patients often come to us with a basic understanding of tooth preservation, so we can have specific and professional conversations about the direction of their Minish treatment,” says Dr. Liu.
The change in communication is also having a positive impact on the quality of care. Patients particularly appreciate the friendliness and relaxed atmosphere of the medical staff.
“Every time a patient tells us that they felt comfortable and that they had a good experience, we know we’re on the right track,” said Dr. Liu.
“I am confident that aesthetic treatments will become a huge mainstream part of the dental world starting this year, and Starwhite Dental will be at the forefront of that change,” he said.
