Dr. Park Jong-ha Park, Director of Kangseo Mohd. Dentistry, was treated with Minish in June 2024.
Dr. Park wanted to improve her crooked and crowded teeth, and especially to change the situation where her straightened teeth had become crooked again, so she applied as a patient of Minish Academy’s “One Day Live” program.
Mr. Park’s treatment started at 10 a.m. and took four hours, including tooth preparation (15 minutes), restoration fabrication (1 hour), cementation and occlusal check (30 minutes), and waiting time.
Dr. Park, who had straight teeth in half a day, said, “After Minish, my teeth are straight and my pronunciation is correct.” He was also satisfied with the restorations, saying, “The worn teeth were perfectly reinforced with the restorations, and the soreness disappeared.”
Dentists who treat Minish also treat Minish
Dr. Park wanted to solve three problems with his teeth.
1. I had gingival recession and my teeth were yellow overall, and I wanted to address the discoloration issue.
2. One of my middle front teeth was previously endodontically treated and actively whitened, but the color didn’t match the rest of my teeth.
3. One of my front teeth that I had previously had braces on had reverted to its original crookedness over time and I wanted to improve that as well.
Dr. Park, who values the principle of saving natural teeth, chose Minish to solve this problem. “Minish is best suited to improve the color while preserving the natural tooth as much as possible,” he says. “Minish is more of a restorative treatment than an aesthetic treatment, and it is in line with Kangseo Mo Dentistry’s goal of saving natural teeth.”

Dr. Jongha Park is a dentist who performs Minish treatments and says that seeing the brightened smiles of his patients after Minish made him want to do more Minish treatments. “Minish is not just a treatment for the front teeth, but a treatment that brightens the overall impression and restores the smile,” Dr. Park said.
Become more confident with Minish at Minish Academy
Park’s understanding of Minish deepened after attending the Minish Academy, and he says he was “shocked” to learn that he didn’t know exactly how it differed from laminate when he first took the course.
The results were so beautiful and the fact that they minimally cleaned up the teeth, preserving as much of the natural tooth as possible.
That’s why Dr. Park was a patient on the final day of the Minish Academy’s “One Day Live,” which streams the Minish treatment process live to the training center and is a hit with the trainees.

Minish treatment has changed my attitude towards patients.
Before Minish, I had a habit of talking over and over again because I felt that my pronunciation was leaking when I talked because my front teeth were slightly crooked. In addition, I had cervical wear on my canines and small molars, so I had a soreness when I ate cold water or cold food or brushed my teeth. After Minish, my teeth were straightened, my pronunciation was accurate, and the soreness disappeared as the worn teeth were perfectly reinforced with restorations.
In particular, cervical abrasion is often treated with resin, and Dr. Park said, “If you treat it with resin alone, it may fall off, but if you treat it with resin and cover the area with Minish, it will never fall off.”
“Before Minish, I used to focus on the outcome of the treatment, such as removing as little tooth as possible, making it as beautiful as possible, and making it last as long as possible,” said Dr. Park, “but when I actually felt the tension as a patient, I realized that I needed to make them feel comfortable during the treatment. He was also impressed with how well organized the system was to ensure that patients were comfortable and well taken care of during their Minish treatment.
He says the experience has made him think more about how he can make his patients more comfortable. As a Minish recipient, she also appreciates the fact that she can show patients the results of their treatments and help them better understand them.
The Minish treatment was also an opportunity for Dr. Park to experience the superiority of Minish. “The main difference is that unlike laminates, which have a certain amount of tooth removal due to the thickness needed to fabricate the restoration, Minish restorations can be made to the curvature of the tooth, so there is no unnecessary removal,” Dr. Park said.
