Introducing Minish Providers
Gowoon Dental, located on Jeju Island, will celebrate its 40th anniversary next year, and has long been a local oral health advocate with the slogan “Gowoon for Gowoon teeth, make you smile.
One of the reasons why Gowoon Dental is trusted by many is its generosity. Since 2014, the clinic has been collecting waste money from the treatment process and donating it to the needy, and patients say, “I thought the clinic was only good at treating people, but it’s a warm clinic.”
Dr. Lee wanted to experience Minish firsthand, so he attended one Minish course and decided to become a provider immediately after completing it. After practicing Minish himself, he became convinced that it was the real dental solution that patients wanted.
One memorable patient was a 14-year-old boy with a congenital dental defect that caused his front teeth to be widely spaced and he was teased as a goblin. I still remember the smile on his face when he said, “I’m not a goblin anymore” after his Minish treatment.
Gowoon Dentistry seeks to empathize with patients, not drag them to the clinic. As the first Minish provider, we plan to create a dental clinic that smiles with patients through pain-free treatment.
