On October 29, Maeil Business reported in its print and English editions that the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism and the Korea Tourism Organization are developing a medical product that will cost up to 300 million won ($300 million), targeting super rich in six Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar.
To this end, a public-private council, 'Alam Arabi Korea' (Arab World in Korea), was formed to promote Middle Eastern tourism to Korea, and 11 hotels, 10 hospitals, 3 beauty, 4 shopping, 3 food and beverage, and 5 K-culture companies were selected as medical tourism partners.
Minish Dental Hospital will be the sole dental partner in a medical lineup that includes Gangnam Jays Hospital, Cha Hospital, and Jasang Oriental Hospital. These hospitals, including Minish, are already known for attracting Middle Eastern tycoons for treatment.
Minish Dental Hospital is a 14-story high-end dental clinic located in Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. All treatment rooms are designed as single-person private spaces, ensuring patient privacy. The clinic's "one-day treatment," which allows patients to complete their treatment in one day, has become popular.
