Minish Technology Hosts First-ever Minish Course in the U.S., Expands North American Presence

Healthtech company Minish Technology announced on Sunday that it has graduated 22 students from its 15th Minish Course for dentists in the United States.
The course took place over three days starting October 24 at the VITA North America training center in Orange County, California, USA.
The course, which is accredited for Continuing Education by the American Dental Association, was highly sought-after and sold out early, even at a price that was 50% higher than other training programs in the region.
The Minish course consisted of the philosophy and theory of Minish, a tooth restoration solution, as well as the curriculum of preparation, scanning, bonding, occlusion, and setting practice.
The program began in 2022 to train "Minish doctors" who use Minish to treat patients and expand provider dentistry. There have been 342 graduates through 15 iterations.
Dr. Philip Tagatak (Inland Dental Arts-San Bernardino, CA) says, "It's nice to know that there's science behind the treatment," adding, "I usually do a lot of veneers, and it's nice to have a treatment option that I can offer my patients that is minimally invasive."
Dr. Albert Lee (Georgia Dental Implant Center-Akworth, GA) said, "The number of instructors and small group sizes made it feel like you were getting one-on-one instruction." "Overall, the lectures and labs were excellent," he said.
This is the first time a Minish course has been held overseas. Previous Minish clinical seminars have been held in Tokyo, Japan, and Beverly Hills, California, but this is the first time a full course, including hands-on labs, has been held locally.
Japan has held three such programs in Korea - in November last year, April and September this year - as local doctors preferred to receive training, visit facilities, and interact with existing provider dentists.
Graduates can join Minishprovider after undergoing a clinical proficiency and credentialing examination, as well as a hospital facility inspection. As of October, there were 75 Minishprovider dental clinics, including 43 in South Korea, 29 in Japan, one in the United States, one in Canada, and one in Vietnam.
The Global Minish Course for foreign dentists is held four times a year, twice in Japan and twice in the United States.
"Opening a training course in the U.S., the world's largest medical market, means that we have entered the stage of full-scale global expansion," said a representative of Minish Technology. "Our overseas business, which was focused on Asia, mainly Japan, has expanded to the North American market, laying the foundation for us to become a global healthtech company."
