Healthtech company Minish Technology announced on the 17th that it has officially introduced a restoration transportation system utilizing AI self-driving robots for the first time in the domestic dental industry. Minish Tech has been piloting the ‘Minish Transport Robot’ for two months since March to build smart medical logistics.

Wrapped with the slogan, “Protect your teeth, do Minish,” the Minish transport robot autonomously drove dental restorations made at the company’s headquarters in Eonju, Gangnam-gu, to Minish providers Sinnonhyeon Station Minish Dental Clinic and Isalie Dental’s Seolleung Station branch.

The Minish transport robot is equipped with AI technology. It uses deep learning route optimization algorithms to analyze real-time traffic flow and 360-degree multi-sensor cameras to recognize pedestrians and obstacles. Real-time connectivity with the control center allows for remote monitoring and immediate response. The process is fully automated, from automatic notification after arrival at the destination to return parking.

During operation, the Minish brand CM songs and slogan voiceovers are transmitted, serving as a “moving advertising tower” in the center of Gangnam.

“The launch of the Minish transport robot is a milestone for smart logistics in the dental industry, and we will continue to innovate to provide a new treatment experience for both patients and providers,” said Dr. Jianqing Zhang, CEO of Minish Technology.
