95 Japanese Dentists and Dental Hygienists Complete the MINISH Course
A total of 95 Japanese dental professionals, 48 dentists and 47 dental hygienists, have completed the official MINISH treatment training program.
MINISH Technology announced on October 26 that it held the “20th MINISH Course Global” for Japanese dental professionals from October 22 to 24 at SETEC in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. The number of graduates rose from the 59 who completed the 17th course in April.
The MINISH Course is the official training program for MINISH treatment. Grounded in biomimetic principles, it combines theoretical lectures with hands-on sessions in preparation, scanning, bonding, occlusion, and setting. The program also featured a session in which Dr. Taito Shimazaki, director of Ashikaga Dental Clinic and a MINISH provider in Japan, presented clinical cases from his Japanese patients.
As in previous courses, dentists and dental hygienists trained together as clinic teams. During the hands-on sessions, dentists performed preparation and setting while dental hygienists assisted, working in sync just as they would in actual treatment.
The graduation ceremony was held as a networking event attended by about 150 people, including graduates, Korean providers, and instructors, fostering exchange between Korean and Japanese dental professionals.
As of October, MINISH treatment is offered at 144 provider clinics worldwide: 86 in Japan, 41 in Korea, 15 in the United States, and one each in Canada and Singapore. Cumulative graduates total 575, comprising 498 dentists and 77 dental hygienists.
“MINISH treatment reaches its full potential when dentists and dental hygienists learn together,” said a MINISH Technology representative. “We plan to expand training sessions led by our Japanese provider directors as speakers.”
