Minish Technology, a healthtech company, today announced the successful conclusion of the Minish Clinical Seminar and Business Presentation in the United States. This is the second local seminar overseas after the one held in Tokyo, Japan in February.
The six-hour event, themed “The Future of Veneers,” was held at the West Hollywood Edition Hotel in Los Angeles and attended by more than 80 dentists from the Los Angeles and California area. The event featured clinical cases, treatment processes, and operations of Minish provider dental practices, as well as Minish Technology’s North American business strategy.
Attendees were intrigued by Minish’s innovation and the variety of cases. They appreciated the ability to perform full-mouth restorations in a single day to improve the color, size, shape, and proportion of crooked and irregular teeth, and to restore not only incisors but also molars. They also noted its reliability, which has been proven in more than 170,000 cases over 17 years.
“The outlook for Minish in the U.S. market is positive, given its conservative approach to treatment and the fact that the (San Francisco) area is very interested in new, cutting-edge technology,” said orthodontist Ghina Morad, DMD, president of Ghina Morad, DMD, San Francisco.
“I initially attended to see if Minish’s minimally invasive prep was feasible,” said Dr. Philip Tagachak of Inland Dental Arts in San Bernardino. “It’s a great opportunity to do minimally invasive prep while still applying biomimetic principles, and I will definitely consider attending the Minish course in Korea and implementing it in my practice.”
“It’s similar to the concept of No-Prep Veneers, but it’s much more precise, adheres to the enamel, and is biocompatible,” says Dr. Kandaji Mohammed of Mona Lisa Smile Dental in Walnut Creek, “and (to be honest) I think it has a lot of advantages because the technique is not complicated and there’s no anesthesia involved. It’s a simple and quick treatment for patients, so they are very willing to adopt it.”
As of May, there are 75 Minish Provider dental clinics in Korea, including 43 in Japan, 29 in the U.S., one in Canada, and one in Vietnam.
“More than 10 doctors have expressed interest in becoming Minish Providers,” said a Minish Technology representative, “and we plan to expand our North American network in earnest with a U.S. subsidiary and the first Minish Provider in Los Angeles.”
