Reimagine existing practice processes

Dr. Byungjin Lee has been practicing and researching in the field of preventive dentistry for 26 years. After serving as a professor of preventive dentistry at Chosun University, he opened his own preventive dentistry clinic, and has been promoting the importance of preventive care as the director of the Concierge Oral Research Institute and the co-chairman of the Korean Society for the Prevention of Dental Diseases.

His role will be to expand prevention and treatment, especially the Minish Oral Spa program. “We plan to provide intensive care to prepare the mouth for Minish treatment and specialized care to prevent and manage tooth decay, periodontal disease, and bad breath,” he said.

We envision a structure that will allow existing Minish customers to continue to receive spa care after their treatment, while simultaneously expanding the number of new customers who want to take care of their teeth.

He started his association with the hospital in 2020 when he participated in the design of the Prevention Department and the Minish Oral Spa program at Minish Dental Hospital. He is currently redesigning the existing treatment process to make it more comfortable for customers.

“A lot of people find dental visits scary and uncomfortable, but that’s not the case at Minish Oral Spa,” he says, “It can be a relaxing and enjoyable experience, almost like a spa.”

“When you think of a spa visit, you think of a fun and relaxing experience, and we want to make Minish Oral Spa and preventive care painless, comfortable, and make you feel good afterward.”

“As a preventive dentistry specialist, I see the value of Minish as a treatment that makes a condition manageable,” he explains. “Minish treatments can make high-risk conditions manageable by improving the morphology and function of tooth structures that are susceptible to cavities and gum disease, and can be the starting point for long-term oral health care that goes beyond simple aesthetic improvement.”

“The goal is to empower our customers to take control of their own dental health through preventive care.”
