, including observations in dental clinic treatment rooms: “The treatment was impressive” and “It was motivating”
An internship program involving students from Dankook University’s College of Dentistry took place on the 24th of last month.
Through a tour of Minish Dental Hospital, the students were introduced to digital-based dental equipment and cutting-edge systems, and observed the entire Minish treatment process for restoring damaged teeth up close.
Kim Chan-woo, a fourth-year student in the undergraduate program at Dankook University, said, “There were many aspects of minimal-prep restorations and bonding that weren’t covered in textbooks, so it was great to be able to see and learn firsthand on-site,” adding, “It made me want to perform Minish treatments in the future.”
Park Jun-woo remarked, “I hadn’t seen Minish treatments in textbooks, so it was impressive to experience them in a real-world setting,” adding, “Seeing firsthand how the hospital operates was very motivating.”
Student Jang Min-ha remarked, “It was great to see the entire process from preparation to finishing, and although I’d only heard about Minish before, I’m leaving having learned so much.”
Minish Dental Hospital plans to continue expanding its collaboration with major dental schools in Korea.
