Minish Dental Hospital is preparing to launch the “Minish Match” service, which analyzes patients’ needs and preferences even before their first visit to match them with the most suitable dentist in advance.

This initiative was designed to address the confusion first-time patients often feel about which doctor to consult. Going forward, patients will be able to receive recommendations for a dedicated doctor and consultation coordinator who are the best fit for them simply by answering a few questions online.

The Mini-Match questionnaire consists of two main stages. In the first stage, you assess your own tendencies through 19 questions covering four categories—personality, communication style, attitude, and decision-making—and then, in the second stage, you identify what you actually find sensitive in a clinical setting.

The checklist includes detailed questions ranging from how sensitive you are to pain to whether you prefer a thorough explanation or just the key points, and even whether you’re flexible with your appointment schedule. Once you complete both steps, the system recommends the best dedicated doctor and consultation manager based on a comprehensive analysis of your personal preferences and needs.

For example, for a patient who says, “I want an honest and definitive diagnosis,” the service will assign a director whose strength is providing clear diagnoses; for a patient who says, “Comfortable communication is my top priority,” it will assign a consultation manager who excels at building rapport. Finally, clicking the “Book an Appointment with This Director” button will connect users directly to the clinic’s reservation line, providing a unique experience where everything from matching a specialist to booking an appointment is completed in one go before the visit.

Kim Su-jeong, a director at Minish Dental Hospital, said, “If patients know which dentist is a good fit for them before their visit, not only will their satisfaction with the consultation be much higher, but the dentist and the consultation manager will also be able to understand the patient’s personality in advance, creating a more personalized and comfortable treatment environment.” “We are currently in the final stages of refinement and plan to officially launch the system soon,” she added.
